About me
I’m Henri-Hubert, but everybody calls me Henri (he/him). I am a commercial pilot turned software designer, then software engineer. I have 10+ years of experience in the tech industry, encompassing roles such as a full-stack developer, front-end developer, tech lead, and CTO. I am also the proud father to two children, aged 6 and 3.
I spent most of my career as the CTO of Tymate, a Lille-based digital agency, which I left a few months ago. Over those eight years, I had the pleasure of diving into a wide array of projects, from small websites to large-scale applications. My specialty is guiding and assisting companies in building their products and helping my team grow, both professionally and personally.
After hours, you'll find me experimenting with mixology and cooking italian meals, and I've got a real passion for it. Maybe it's because I've had the chance to live in various countries (France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Namibia), but I'm also a big fan of traveling, meeting new people, and learning about diverse cultures.
If you need more info, feel free to contact me on Mastodon, GitHub, or to book a call with me.
My stack
This is the tech stack I’m most at ease with. But, I'm completely open to exploring alternatives, whether they’re JavaScript-based or not. My primary focus is to deliver maximum value while keeping the stack as simple as possible. That’s why I don’t typically recommend using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and OpenTofu before they’re needed.
