# Wishlist

My wishlist: the objects I care about and why. Pokémon cards, mechanical watches, and the stories behind each piece.
## Pokémon Cards

I'm fully part of the Pokémon generation, but even though I watched the anime from time to time, I completely missed the . It wasn't until after lockdown that I got into it, as a way to bond with my son.

Since then, I've built a side project to organize my collection. Here are my favorites, ranging from 3€ to 800€. The green check means I already own it.

Real Pokémon collectors would raise an eyebrow at this list. I can't help it, I find recent art rares way too beautiful.

## Watches

I used to be all-in on Apple Watch, WHOOP band… wearables, basically. But after going through a rough patch where I needed to step back, I wanted to distance myself from anything that keeps me connected, and I started thinking about the timelessness of objects. I made a list of five watches I'd like to own, with the desire to pass them down to my children.

I'm not saying I don't eye other watches. Omega Speedmaster Snoopy, Citizen, IWC or Bell & Ross watches for instance. But these five are the ones that make sense.
